Yet an unexpected turn of events managed to bring out the joy of the season in the office, making this year’s Christmas…

Arthur Pichay
Writer/Director of One ‘Very” Corporate Christmas
Arthur first visited WCC with his family in 2021 and they all knew that this was home for them. Aside from now leading the re-established WCC Drama Ensemble (post-pandemic), Arthur sings in the worship team in both Carol Stream & Aurora campuses, and serves on the Media Team in Carol Stream.
Introducing the revival of the series of these Christmas productions in 2022 with “One ‘Very’ Snowy Christmas”, Arthur is both amazed and impressed with the talent that abounds within WCC, that he is humbled, honored and thankful to be given the opportunity of leading this ministry.

Mrs. Tanya Egler
Musical Director
Pastor Tanya has been involved with WCC since the 90s. She is the Director of the Wheaton College Gospel Choir and serves on the Worship Team at WCC.
Pastor Tanya loves to sing and is most passionate about worshipping God in everything she does.

Lori Terry
Oklahoma Meade
Owner & CEO of Meade Publishing Enterprises (MPE)Lori has been with WCC since 1998, and is currently serving as one of the leaders in Gracious Women’s Ministry. Lori has love for the arts as shown in her extensive drama experience. Aside from several mini-skits & plays at WCC, she has also participated in three major church presentations under “It’s A Wrap” Productions.

Bonnie Bailey
Delta Collins
Famous authoress of best-selling, self-help booksBonnie came to WCC in 2017 and fell in love with the church and its members, and currently serves on the worship team. Her aunt was a traveling drama writer & director who brought her two-hour performances to churches across the country, which is where Bonnie’s training and love for acting and stage altogether was realized and developed. Bonnie first brought the role of Delta Collins to life in the WCC Christmas musical “One ‘Very’ Snowy Christmas” in 2022, and she reprises this role this year. Watch out – she will show up in future Christmas musicals!

Jaxson Hutton
Victor Dominic Acosta
Loyal and faithful assistant, manager and publicist of Delta Collins.Jaxson was only 10 months old when his parents Jason & Careese came to WCC. Jaxson has professional TV experience, and he has participated in choral and instrumental productions at school as well as in several productions/commercials with WCC, most recent of which was playing the lead in KB Kids’ Christmas musical “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen” in 2021. He first brought the character of Victor Acosta to life in the WCC production of “One ‘Very’ Snowy Christmas” in 2022, which he reprises this year, along with his boss Delta Collins.

Jeremy Pichay
Vincent Broderick Augusta
Assistant to Oklahoma Meade.Jeremy started attending WCC with his family in 2021. Jeremy serves in the Media ministry, working the cameras during services, helping with KB Kids, and singing with the WCC choir. Jeremy has participated in various church Resurrection plays growing up, and also participated in WCC Children’s Christmas musical “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen” in 2021. Most recently, he filled in to play Victor Acosta in one of the performances for “One ‘Very’ Snowy Christmas” in 2022.

Min. Curtis Morris

Head of Operations at MPEMin. Curtis came to WCC with his family in 2008 and have been regular attendees since then. One of the ministers in church, Min. Curtis is involved with Men of Excellence, serves as one of the ushers with Guest Services, and is one of the Sunday School teachers in KB Kids. Min. Curtis has no drama experience in school or growing up, and just started participating in plays at WCC. Most recently, Min. Curtis played the role of Mark Sullivan in the WCC production “One ‘Very’ Snowy Christmas” in 2022, and reprised this role in the Good Friday production of “Unknown” earlier this year.

Head of Supplies & Manufacturing at MPEDavona has been with WCC all her life! Outside of the Drama ministry, Davona leads the KB Kids, and is one of the minds behind projects and fun activities & events for our Children ministry! Having extensive experience from school productions, Davona has also acted in several church plays, and also recently directed “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen”, WCC Children’s Christmas musical in 2021.

Kim Bailey

Head of Marketing & Communications at MPEKim has considered WCC as her home church since 2015, and has been a faithful attendee ever since. She has previously been involved in various ministries & church events such as Gracious Women’s Ministry seminars and Sunday school, and is currently actively serving as a greeter with Guest Services team. This production marks the very first time that Kim acts on stage!

Office Manager at MPEAngie has been attending WCC since 2003, and has served in various ministries such as the bookstore, praise team & praise dance team. She also worked in the church office. Angie has participated in various skits & plays at WCC, and this is her initial “comeback” since we re-established our WCC Drama team.

Head of IT & Special Projects at MPEMin. Darryl & his family started attending WCC in 2001. One of our ministers in church, Min. Darryl is involved with Men of Excellence, connect groups & the prayer team. Min. Darryl participated in some plays in grade school, and has revisited his love for the arts when he played Dr. Turner in our Good Friday presentation of “Unknown” earlier this year.”

New hire Accounting Specialist at MPEAlexis started attending WCC with her family in 2021. Alexis serves in KB Kids as a Helper, operates the camera during services in Carol Stream and singing with the WCC choir. Alexis has a natural passion for the arts – she recently played Jasmine in “Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp” for her Drama club in her high school. Alexis has also participated in various church Resurrection plays, and was part of the choral ensemble for both KB Kids’ Christmas musical “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen” in 2021, and the WCC production of “One ‘Very’ Snowy Christmas” in 2022.

Father of Oklahoma MeadeDavid started attending WCC in the 80’s. Needless to say, he has been involved in many, many ministries through the years, currently involved in Men of Excellence and serving in the transportation ministry. A veteran of the arts, David went to Acting School of Chicago, as well as College of DuPage & Kennedy King College Theater Departments. He has also been a part of various stage plays at WCC, and this production marks David’s return to WCC Drama team.

Mother of Oklahoma MeadeCareese and her husband came to WCC in 2011 with then 10-month old son Jaxson. Amarise started attending WCC in 2021, and has been serving in KB Kidz as a helper. Amarise has never been a part of any stage productions in school, and this musical marks her debut performance!

Harper’s family was already members and regular attendees of WCC when she was born, so it’s safe to say that Harper has been with WCC all her life. You may remember seeing her in various national commercial ads in both print & TV over the years. Harper has also been a part of a few productions/commercials with WCC, most recent of which was being part of the choral ensemble for KB Kids’ Christmas musical “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen” in 2021.

Nurse of Bruce MeadeAfter multiple visits to WCC at the invite of her sister Lori Terry, Leona became a member and regular attendee beginning 2016. She is heavily involved in connect groups and an actively serves in Guest Services at Carol Stream. This production marks Leona’s debut performance on stage!
